Some people that get a fireplace built wonder if they will even use it in the summer. The summer is hot enough in states like Texas and Florida, but can be a nice time to actually use your fireplace. Why do we say that? Because its a time when you can have the windows open on your home, and allow a nice evening breeze to come in while enjoying the heat off the fireplace you have lit up. This is one of my favorite things to do in my home because it gives an ambience of outdoors.
Plus the energy consumption is very small in portion. The fire can last quite a long time on very little, and your family can enjoy some quality time together.
There are many ways to get a fireplace setup, and so you might even think of one for the outdoors if you will be barbecuing in the summer more than in the winter.
